Integral Means for Uniformly Convex and Starlike Functions Associated with Generalized Hypergeometric Functions

Making use of the generalized hypergeometric functions, we introduce some generalized class of k−uniformly convex and starlike functions and for this class, we settle the Silverman’s conjecture for the integral means inequality. In particular, we obtain integral means inequalities for various classes of uniformly convex and uniformly starlike functions in the unit disc.

A Subclass of Analytic Functions Associated with Hypergeometric Functions

In the present paper, we have established sufficient conditions for Gaus-sian hypergeometric functions to be in certain subclass of analytic univalent functions in the unit disc $mathcal{U}$. Furthermore, we investigate several mapping properties of Hohlov linear operator for this subclass and also examined an integral operator acting on hypergeometric functions.

Let F(a,b;c;z) be the classical hypergeometric function and f be a normalized analytic functions defined on the unit disk . Let an operator Ia,b;c(f ) be defined by [Ia,b;c(f )](z)= zF(a,b;c;z)∗f(z). In this paper the authors identify two subfamilies of analytic functions 1 and 2 and obtain conditions on the parameters a,b,c such that f ∈ 1 implies Ia,b;c(f )∈ 2.

p-VALENT FUNCTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH WRIGHT’S GENERALIZED HYPERGEOMETRIC FUNCTIONS

The Wright’s generalized hypergeometric function is used here to introduce a new class of p-valent functions WT p(λ, α, β) defined in the open unit disc and investigate its various characteristics. Further we obtain distortion bounds, extreme points and radii of close-to-convexity, starlikeness and convexity of functions belonging to the class WT p(λ, α, β).
